It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Nelson of Watertown, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert A. Nelson; her sons, Robert C. Nelson and Mark Nelson; her grandchildren, Alexander and Lillian Nelson; and her siblings, Charles Barbato (Patricia), Thomas Barbato, Diane Shepard (Thomas), Donald Barbato (late Lucille), Richard Barbato (Carol), Arthur Barbato (Jenny), Paul Barbato (Susan), Robert'Bobby'Barbato, Susan Barbato and Joseph Barbato. She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Nardone Funeral Home (373 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
