George Giogas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2023, at the age of 85, George Giogas of Watertown, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sophia Papadopoulos, Popi Kandaras and Themis Giogas. He is survived by: his wife Athina Giogas (Kazakidis); his children, Christos Giogas (Erica), Tula Mandilas (Demetrios) and Rula DeOliveira (Monteiro); his siblings, Josif and Vaso Giogas; and his siblings-in-law, Demetrios and Tula Zlatkos. He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn, MA 01801.
