He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne R. Dickie (Flanagan); his son Michael E.; and his sisters, Patricia Regan, Thelma Boyce and Letitia "Letty" Langan.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dickie (Poirier); his sons, Kevin J. Dickie (Nancy) of Medway, Brendan J. Dickie (Rachelle) of Watertown and Stephen J. Dickie; his stepsons, Jimmy Harkins (Christine) and Billy Harkins; his siblings, Donald, Billy, Steve Dickie, Peter Rae and Doreen Johnson; his grandchildren, Christopher Derian of Wilmington, Katherine, Caroline Dickie of Medway, Emma, Jack, Sara Dickie of Watertown and Jimmy Harkins; and his great grandchildren, Santino and Luca Derian. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
