Caterina Caniglia Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2025, Caterina Caniglia of Watertown, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ercolino Sansevero and Maria Sansevero (DiPrinzio); her husband Domenico Caniglia; her children, Joseph Caniglia (Moira) of Brockton and Rosana Thomas of Apex, NC.; her siblings, Iolanda Tracanna (late Luigi) of Waltham, Giuseppina Tracanna (Bruno) of Waltham and Nicola Sansevero; her grandchildren, Nicholas Caniglia (Luana) of Nevada, Sara Caniglia of Rhode Island, Raymond Coover (Alison) of North Carolina, Robert Coover (Susana) of Virginia, David Sansevero Coover and Erin Thomas of North Carolina; and her great grandchildren, Dominic, Ethan, Christopher and Mia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nardone Funeral Home (373 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (212 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Caterina's memory to a charity that was dear to her heart, in honor of her grandson, David Sansevero Coover.
