She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Avery; and her parents, Jennie Zevitas and William Zevitas of Watertown. She is survived by: her children, Angelica "Lee" Christo and Jan Siannas (Athanasios); her grandchildren, Maria Thigpen (Chris), Anastasia "Stacey" Langill (Michael) and Spiro Siannas (Beth); her great grandchildren, Glenn, Gianna, Ann Thigpen, Johnnie, Mia Langill and Scarlett Siannas; and also Edith Mwanga. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church.
