Afrodite G. Economos Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Afrodite G. Economos of Watertown, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Achilles Economos; her parents, George Pechilis and Christina Pechilis (Mavrogiannis); and her siblings, Demetrios Pechilis and Pauline Karafotias.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Levas of Watertown, MA and Christine Hayden (Stephen Hunt) of Metheun, MA; her grandson Konstantinos Levas (Donna-Kristina Levas) of Watertown, MA; her great grandchildren, Fotini and Amalia Levas; and her sister Nikoleta Kallis of Brockton, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests that donations in Afrodite's memory be made to the youth ministries of her beloved church, the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church on 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown, MA 02472.
