She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Fernandes, Sr. and Evelyn Fernandes (Cambra); and her brother Louis Fernandes, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Brian Smith; her daughters, Sarah Smith of Hope Valley, RI, Jessica Smith of Woodriver, RI and Johnna Bedard of Niantic, CT; her grandchildren, Maizie Hill, Riley Conroy, Cooper Conroy, Skyla Bedard and Wyatt Bedard; and her sister Barbara Ferreira. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
