She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Siegfried Piontek and Regina Piontek (Schwanke); her husband Mark Gifford; her stepchildren, Kelly Thomas (Gifford) of Felton, DE, Brian Gifford (Jessica) of Ayden, NC, Jillian Sheridan (Phillip) of Marana, AZ and Alyssa Gifford of Norfolk, VA; her siblings, Ron Piontek (Anna Mary) of Cincinnati, OH, Jeff Piotek (Soti) of St. Joseph, MI and Kim Piontek of St. Joseph, MI; her sisters-in-law, Geri Kapalka (John) of Wareham and Melody Gifford of Wareham; her close friend Gus; and also Gusto (Gus). She was also cherished by grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Boston Tavern Restaurant (58 E Grove St, Middleborough, MA 02346).
