It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven L. Fernandes of Wareham, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Gino Fernandes; his son Ryan Aponte; and his stepfather Edward DaLuz (late Susan Hardy). He is survived by: his mother Irma Fernandes (Santos) of Wareham; his daughter Ebony A. S. Fernandes of New Bedford; his siblings, Gino Fernandes of Mesa, AZ, Marlene Gomes (Benjamin) of Wareham, Eugene Fernandes of Wareham, Darlene Chambers of Wareham, Doreen Fernandes of Wareham, Sheila Paris of Providence, RI and Derek Paris (Melissa) of Worcester; his grandchildren, Xavier Roldan and Aaliyah Fernandes; and his former wife Jerrie Aponte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
