He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Rooney and Jean Rooney (McHeffey). He is survived by: his daughters, Erin J. Rooney of Norton and Jennifer A. Rooney-Illa of Boston; his stepchildren, Daniel Murray of Swansea and Alison Savicke of North Attleboro; his siblings, Leslie Germond (Michael) of Holden and Brian Rooney of Florida; his grandchildren, Liam, Kiera, Emeline, Henry and Caleb; and his nephew Cameron Germond.
