He was predeceased by: his wife Mary E. Cox (Watt); his parents, Richard L. Cox and Martha M. Cox (Confiant); and his brother David. He is survived by: his children, Ann M. Cox (John Vincent Nihan) of Wareham and Michael R. Cox (Ellen Phillips) of Wareham; his stepgranddaughter Kristen E. Nihan of Taunton; his siblings, Clifford Cox of Canada, John Cox of Canada, Marion McKinnon of Canada, Harold, Louis, Robert Cox, Irene Neal, Ella McKinnon and Carolyn Holyoke; and his nieces and nephews, Shirley Turner (Vince), Carole Allen of Des Moines, Patricia Baker of West Bridgewater and Maura Watt of Brockton.
