He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Porter and Phyllis Porter (Benoit); his son Gregory Porter; and his brother David Porter (Kathleen Porter) of East Bridgewater. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Porter (Tubman); his children, David Porter (Elizabeth) of Middleborough, Karyn Waterman (Doug) of Middleborough and Glen Porter (Laurence) of Cape Neddick; his grandchildren, Joshua, Bellamy, Zachary, Kaitlin, Jacob, Andrew and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Rhett and Austin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ashley Funeral Home (35 Oak St, Middleborough, MA 02346).
