He is survived by: his wife Judith Hall-Gavaza (Volpe) of Wareham; his children, John H. Gavaza, III of Onset, Matthew Gavaza of Rehoboth, Bryan Gavaza of Halifax, Laura LaCava (David) of Wareham and Andrea Thompson (Eric) of Stoneham; and his siblings, Jamie Gavaza, Jerry Gavaza, Joanne Lighthizer, Michelle Gigante and Judy Lake. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Wareham (2599 Cranberry Hwy, Wareham, MA 02571). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Center Cemetery - Wareham (26 Tihonet Rd, Wareham, MA 02571).
