She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph R. Pierce and Oria M. Pierce (Bolduc); her son Scott Baker; her close friend Vaino Halunen; and her brother Dennis Pierce.
She is survived by: her stepsister Pat Kaasinen; her close friend Gerry Weinstein; her children, Albert Baker (Larry) of Burlington, Paul Baker of Wareham and Janet Bakeman (Helen); her stepson Chet Halunen (Marty) of Wareham; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cullivan, Jodi Baker, Tara Baker, Andrea Baker and Robert Bergeron; and her brother Leonard Pierce of Weymouth. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Southcoast VNA Hospice and Palliative Care, who cared for her and supported her family through her end-of-life transition.
