He was predeceased by: his father Buster Alexander; and his brother Philip E. Alexander. He is survived by: his mother Pearl Alexander (Crandell) of Wareham; his sons, Phil Alexander of Middleboro and Jeff Alexander of Wareham; his sisters, Ellen DeGregorio of Wareham and Rachel Alexander of Wareham; and the mother of his children Cheryl Sylvia of Middleboro. He is also survived by 8 nephews and nieces; 5 great nephews and nieces.
