He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Whitcomb and Barbara T. Whitcomb; his sister Nancy; and his niece Melinda Baxter. He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Van) of Worcester and Stephen (Jeanne) of Hanson; his grandchildren, William, Daniel, Benjamin, Emma and Anne; his niece Betsy Finch of Glen, NH; and his nephew Warren Morse of Wareham.
