She is survived by: her son-in-law Butch; her great grandchildren, Kaia, Marcel Jr. and Elias; her grandsons, Lance (Allison) and Marcel Sr. (Diamond); her pet Nyla; her brother Edwin F. Pina (Pat) of Fairhaven; her children, Patricia Tavares of Wareham, Linda Thornton of Onset, Peter Tavares, Jr. (Cynthia) of Harwich, Cheryle Tavares-Merritt (Butch) of West Wareham and Paul Tavares of Wareham; and her friend Emily Baptist of Wareham. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
