She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joseph Castano and Eleanore Paquette; and her parents, Joseph Castano and Eleanor Castano (Sullivan). She is survived by: her husband Ernest E. "Mac" McCarthy, Jr.; her daughters, Mary Johnson (Vernon), Lisa O'Keefe (Kevin), Maureen Jankins (Michael), Lynn Butler (David) and Monica Galamaga (Peter); her brothers, Thomas Castano and Daniel Castano; her grandchildren, Hillary Johnson Shear (Jack), Brian Johnson (Emily), Benjamin Johnson, Kelsey O'Keefe Spear (Kurt), Reilly O'Keefe Magazine (Matthew), Meaghan O'Keefe Redd (Richard), Cody Jankins, Olivia Jankins, Shelby Jankins, Thomas Jankins (Casey Miller), Samuel Butler (Danielle D'Amico), Mackenzie Butler, Timothy Galamaga, Daniel Galamaga and Charles Galamaga; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, Cole, Piper, Ellie, Delaney, Quinn, McKenna and Spencer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
