Edward Desjardins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Desjardins (Ware, Massachusetts), born in Montgomery, Vermont, who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Desjardins and Doris Desjardins; and his sister Georgette Blais. He is survived by: his wife Annette Desjardins (Vadnais); his children, Gary Desjardins (Laurie) of Ware, Mark Desjardins of Ware, Glen Desjardins (Rebecca) of Ware, Anne Young of Ware and Jill Svagdis (John) of Braintree; his grandchildren, Scott, Elizabeth, Michael, Jeffrey, Jason, Karisa, Kirsten, Camille, Clarice, Natalie, Thomas and Matthew (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Liam and Caitlin; and his siblings, Albert Desjardins of Chicopee, Mary Jean Specht of Chicopee and Gloria LaRiviere of Feeding Hills. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to those in need in the Ware community by supporting the local food pantry; Jubilee Food Cupboard, P.O. Box 447, Ware, MA 01082. Donations in honor of Eddie may also be made to Baystate Medical Center to support the great work of the nurses that took care of Eddie during these difficult times at baystatehealth.org/giving.
