She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard H. Gervais; her brother Luther E. "Buddy" Via, Jr.; and her parents, Luther E. Via and Grace E. Via (Morgan). She is survived by: her children, Shayla Brunette (Robert) of Ware, Tammy Letendere (Leo) of Ware, Grace Mitchell (Robert) of Ware and John Shoum (Vicki) of Houlton, Maine.. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
