He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Demers and Laura Demers (Dubois); his former wife Patti Demers (Hrapek); his sister Reinette (Francis Chrabascz); and his grandchildren, Christine, Mary Patricia, Macie Grace and Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Demers (Harper); his children, Scott (Jackie) of Belchertown, Joanne (Brian Fitzgerald) of Ware and Lisa Richards of Framingham; his stepchildren, Larry McCloskey Jr. (Holly) of South Dennis, Deb of Stafford Springs, CT, William (Wendy McCloskey) of Somers, CT, Michael (Deidriene McCloskey) of Vernon, CT and Carol Ann (Douglas Piccoli) of Stafford Springs, CT; and his siblings-in-law, Tom (Joanne Brunton), Dorothy Lennox and Carol (Raymond Rivard). He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
