He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Varley of Waltham and Gina Ghioldi (Carlton SooHoo); his sister Sarah Varley of Pittsburgh, PA.; his aunt Diana Ezzell; his uncle Daniel Varley (Leslie); his grandparents, Ruth "Memere" Varley and Emilio "Grandpa" Ghioldi; his godparents, Maritere Fernandez and Charles Lyons; and his stepbrother Perry SooHoo. He is also survived by many great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of his Grammy, Karen Born, at: kidney.org.
