She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David; her daughter Sara (Jay); her grandchildren, Jill (Charles) and Samuel; her great grandchildren, Lucas and Emmy; her granddaughter Robyn (Karim); and her mother Lillian.

During the AIDS epidemic, she transported AIDS patients to their appointments during the early years of the AIDS pandemic.
