It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta C Shanks of Waltham, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Shanks (Eis) and John J. Shanks; her sister Sandra Dower; her close friend Chuck Tierney; and also CJ.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Fitzpatrick of Kingston and Edward Shanks of Delray Beach, FL; and her nieces and nephews, Kelly Fitzpatrick of So, Weymouth, Karen Johnson of Marshfield, John Dower, Deborah McCleary and Cynthia Kiernan.
Her memory will forever be cherished, and her contributions to her community will never be forgotten. A private graveside service will be held in the future at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. in lieu of flowers send donation to MSPCA at http://www.mspca.org.
