He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Proia and Jennie Proia (Conzo); his wife Rose Proia (DeFazio); his grandson Stephen M. Proia; and his siblings, Frances Proia, Alexander Proia, Theresa Proia, Mitilda Proia and Rose "Rosie" Proia.
He is survived by: his children, David Proia (Sharon) of Waltham, Richard Proia (Rosemary) of Waltham, Linda Calleva (Christopher) of Waltham and Patricia Murray (James) of Waltham; his grandchildren, David A. Proia, Daniel D. Proia (Jamie), Nicole M. Proia, Alicia M. DiDino, Domenique R. DiDino, Christopher S. Calleva Jr., Louis DiDino II, Catherine Murray (Edward) and Laura Murray (Nick); his great grandchildren, James, Eddie and Morgan; and his brother Dominic Proia (Catherine) of Newton. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
