She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Onesimo Dzimiri Brekeni Taderera and Veronica Keresensia Taderera (Mbuya MaNdlovu); her husband Elijah; her children, Edwin Kumbirai, Anthony Farai, Charles Fungai, Caroline Kudzai, Rosalia Tsitsi and Roseline Mutsa; her grandchildren, Panashe Mphatso, Munashe, Elijah Limbani, Kumbirai Cory, Ashleigh Davidzo, Craig Mutsa, Rayann Chiedza, Samantha Rufaro, Tariro Kimberly, Munesu Evan and Matthew Simbarashe; and her daughters, Esther Chipata Mututu, Teresa Sarudzai Mututu, Maribeth "Beth" Mututu and Jerry Martin (Lovemore Nyazema).
