He was predeceased by: his parents, James Florio and Albina Florio (Palmeri); and his siblings, Lucy, Emil, Vincent and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Florio; his children, Maureen Jolin (Michael), Joseph J. Florio (Cheryl), Brenda Florio-Sousa (late Brian Sousa, Jr.) and David J. Florio; and his grandchildren, Lucia Florio, Liana Florio, Jack Florio-Sousa, Matthew Florio-Sousa, Kurstin Florio and Danica Florio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
