With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joseph R. Florio of Waltham, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on December 7, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Florio and Albina Florio (Palmeri); and his siblings, Lucy, Emil, Vincent and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Florio; his children, Maureen Jolin (Michael), Joseph J. Florio (Cheryl), Brenda Florio-Sousa (late Brian Sousa, Jr.) and David J. Florio; and his grandchildren, Lucia Florio, Liana Florio, Jack Florio-Sousa, Matthew Florio-Sousa, Kurstin Florio and Danica Florio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (311 River St, Waltham, MA 02453).
