She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Gilreath and Marie Gilreath (Racicot); and her daughter Kathryn M. Dempsey. She is survived by: her spouse Cantabrigian John J. "Jack" Dempsey; her daughter Karen M. Harnett of Waltham; her grandchildren, Michael, Abigail Harnett, Amanda and Aidan Wenckus; and her brothers, Donald, David, Mark and James Gilreath. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
