She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth H. and Mary L. Oates (White). She is survived by: her daughter Nicole M. Nixon (Daniel); her grandson Sebastian Nixon; and her brothers, David Oates of Virginia and Cork Oates of North Carolina. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
The military honors was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
