He was predeceased by: his wife Emilia V. Mariano (Grieco). He is survived by: his children, Ada Maria DiLetizia (Gino) of Hyde Park, Arcangelo V. Mariano of Waltham, Gerardo Mariano, Jr. (Cheryl) of Sherborn, Francesca Pisano (Jason) of Waltham and Isabella Bauters (Ray) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Luca, Emilia, Giuliano, Sofia, Livia Mariano, Gabriella, Nico Pisano, Gerardo, Antonio and Adelina Bauters; and his siblings, Vincenzo Mariano of Caserta Italy, Carlo Mariano of Saugus and Elisa Mariano of Chiuduno Italy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A wake was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Church (573 Washington St, Newton, MA 02458). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Knollwood Memorial Park (321 High St, Canton, MA 02021).
