It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emile Joseph Leger Jr. of Waltham, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna DeSantis. He is survived by: his children, Donna DeSimone of Burlington, MA, Brenda Swift (Rick) of Ashby, MA, Paul Leger (Lisa) of Marlborough, MA, Edward Leger (Linda) of Natick, MA and David Leger of Concord, NH.; his grandchildren, Michelle Shirley, Anna DeSimone, Ryan Swift, Stephen Leger, Sarah Leger, Leah Leger, Amanda Leger and Cheyenne Gauvin; and his great grandchildren, Alana, Brooke, Samantha, Cole and Robert.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Magni Funeral Home (365 Watertown St, Newton, MA 02458). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Church (573 Washington St, Newton, MA 02458). He was a retired business owner, an electrical engineer, a proud Army veteran and employed driver for the last 12 years until the pandemic hit.
