He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Margaret Anne McLaughlin (Harkin); his siblings, James A. McLaughlin, John J. McLaughlin (Jackie) and Mary R. Burgoyne of Waltham; his son John M. McLaughlin; and his grandson Michael P. McLaughlin (Mary Connolly) of Hopkinton.
He is survived by: his children, Michael B. McLaughlin (Laura) of Mendon, Paul E. McLaughlin (Cathy) of Hopkinton and Patricia Johnson (David Drinkwater) of Whitinsville; his brother Thomas T. McLaughlin (Mary Ann) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Marie, Nicole, Grace, Cody, James and Daniel; and his caregivers, Tricia Kalagher, Ellie Tulaba and Chaplin Brian Young. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
