With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia J. Hire of Waltham, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lawson and Helen Chamberlain (Lawson); and her brother-in-law David Hire. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Hire of Waltham; her sons, Jason C. Hire (Iti) of Waltham, Donald M. Hire (Mariana) of Nahant, Jeremy Hire of Assonet and Andrew Hire (Erin) of Waltham; her grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Brayden and Riley; her sisters, Deborah Lawson of Waltham and Rebecca Lewis (Jeff) of Ashland; her brother-in-law Frederick Hire (Dorothy) of Hudson; and her nieces and nephews, Hanna Lewis, Dean Hire and Stephen Hire (Gail).
