He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Benson and Katherine Benson (McDermott). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Benson (Colella); his sons, Mark, John and Robert; and his siblings, Ronald Benson, Sr. and Doris Edmunds. He is also survived by his five granddaughters.
