She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Hurley and Margaret Hurley (Clark); her grandchild Ryan Johnston; and her brothers, Edward and Stephen Hurley.
She is survived by: her husband James W. Johnston; her children, James W. Johnston, Jr. of Waltham, Patricia M. Butler of Portsmouth, Karen E. Muise (David) of Waltham, Susan L. MacDougall (Robert) of Winchendon and Carolyn B. Colantino (Salvatore) of Thompson, Connecticut; her grandchildren, Shannon, Kevin Johnston, Michael, Christopher Butler, Katherine Norman (Jonathan), Jessica, Adam and Dylan Muise; her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Wyatt, Maverick, Grace, Caroline and Ella; and her sisters-in-law, Joan and Helen Hurley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
