He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scafidi and Antonina Scafidi (Aquilia); his wives, Claire and Mabel; his son William Scafidi; his stepdaughter Michelle Fabri; and his brothers, Martin, Dominic 'Mickey', Charles, Theodore, Salvatore and James Scafidi.

He is survived by: his children, Donna M. Barberio (Robert) of Derry, Robert A. Scafidi (Rina) of Bellingham and Janet Mailhiot (Al) of Framingham; his stepsons, David Cody (Kim) and Dennis Cody (Julie); and his stepson-in-law Michael Fabri of Framingham. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
