Thomas Joseph Griffin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Joseph Griffin of Walpole, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Joseph Griffin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Brigid King, Michael Griffin, Margaret Healy, John Griffin, Peter Griffin, Ned Griffin and William Griffin.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Teresa GriffinLoving (Lyons); his children, Mary Teresa Brown (Christopher) of Franklin, Thomas Francis Griffin (Angela) of West Roxbury, Catherine Ann Michaud (Brian) of Walpole, John Paul Griffin (Michele) of Kittery and Margaret Elizabeth McNulty (Barry) of East Walpole; his grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Brown, Elizabeth Ann Brown, Patrick Joseph Michaud, Mayla Teresa McNulty and Alana Mairead McNulty; and his siblings, Patrick Griffin of New Zealand, Mary Wall of Galway, Jim Griffin of New Zealand and Nora McNaughton of England. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (176 Washington St, East Walpole, MA 02032).
