It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Ward Besaw (Walpole, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Steven Ward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard E. Besaw and Marjorie E. Besaw (Street); and his aunts and uncles, Vyda M. Walton and Dora Byrnes. He is survived by: his wife June Coutu; his cousin Alison Marinaro of Plainville; his goddaughter Meredith Lenhart of Canton; his pet Laddie; and also Marion Ellis of Arkansas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Church of Walpole (30 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081).
