He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Sawyer and Rita D. Sawyer (Collard); his grandson James D. Sawyer (Mildred "Sue") of Attleboro; and his nephew Scott Sawyer. He is survived by: his brother Bob; his wife Diane A. Duffy; his stepdaughter Nicole M. Hebert (Steven) of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Boden Hebert, Emmeline HebertBrother of Jacqueline, Kiley (Harold) of Mansfield, Robert H. Sawyer of Brownfield and Joanne M. Sawyer of Plainville; his siblings-in-law, Debbie O'Connor (Billy) of Nahant, Michael Duffy of New Castle and Pia Ringrose (James) of Apollo Beach, Florida.; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Cooney (Stephen), Nicholas Kiley, Megin Scottin (Michael), Madison Duffy and Alex Proal; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Harrison Cooney, Sawyer Cooney, Samuel Cooney, Amber Scottin, Kaylene Scottin and Michael Scottin.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
