He was predeceased by: his spouse Leslie A. Soderstrom (Slover); his son Gregg D. Soderstrom; and his parents, Carlton W. Soderstrom and Helen F. Soderstrom (Daniel). He is survived by: his children, Gary R. Soderstrom (Eleanor Lenher) and Andrea K. Vandette (Chris) of Foxboro; his grandchildren, Meghan, Lindsay, Trevor, Morgan, Reese and Evan; and his great grandchild Roe.
