He is survived by: his wife Betsey Dyer; his children, Alice Obar (Esteban Mendiolaza) and Samuel Obar; his sister Nancy Costa; his mother Evelyn Obar; and also Shirley Edelheit. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Children's Hospital Boston where Bob regularly donated blood.
