He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Wegerdt and Catherine Wegerdt (McCarthy); and his siblings, Virginia Markey, Theodore "Ted" Wegerdt, Kathryn Kearns, Ann Thorgerson and Margaret Heffron.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia A. Tredeau (Cynnie) of Stephen's Church; his children, Robyn Allen (Mark Western) of Chevy Chase, Susan Bartucca (Anthony) of Wrentham, Allison Sortzi (Christopher) of Leesburg, Virginia, Lauren McMackin (Daniel) of Mashpee and Paul Wegerdt (Meredith) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Danielle, Travis, Matthew Allen, Alex Bartucca, Benjamin Bartucca, Matthew Marsteller (Valentina), Jillian Marsteller, Olivia Marsteller, Brooke Morris, Blake Morris, Rachelle Morris, Riley Wegerdt and Eleanor "Elly" Wegerdt; and his great grandchild Emmett. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paul's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
