Francesco Gioioso Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francesco Gioioso of Walpole, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pelino Gioioso and Giovanna Gioioso (D'Amore); his father-in-law Armando D'Ambrosio of Winthrop; and his siblings, Luigi Gioioso, Enrico Gioioso, Tommaso Gioioso, Filomena Colasante and Mario Gioioso.

He is survived by: his wife Carmela M. "Lina" Gioioso; his children, Dr. Cristina Gioioso-Datta (Rupak Datta) of Woodbridge, Gianna Gioioso of Dedham, Dr. Valeria Gioioso of San Diego and Francesco Biagio Gioioso of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Kavi, Chiara and Cali Datta; his mother-in-law Giovanna; and his siblings, Giuseppe Gioioso of Braintree, Maria DiNanno of Norwood and Elena Adgate of Braintree. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
