She was predeceased by: her parent Hugh Powderly. She is survived by: her spouse Earl C. Smith; her parent Anne Powderly (Brennan); her children, Earl D. Smith (Cindy) of Walpole, Jean M. Cole (Bob) of Belfast and James D. Smith (Sue) of Walpole; her sisters, Geraldine Bulman of Bridgewater and Patricia Zachary of Brockton; and her grandchildren, Vanessa Smith, Alexandra Smith, Meaghan Smith, James Smith, Joseph Smith and Anna Cole.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
