He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria J. Silva (Irwin). He is survived by: his children, Richard J. Silva Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, Allen R. Silva (Michele) of Palmer and Sandra L. Silva (Kimberly Bergman) of Ohio; his brothers, James Silva (Dale) of New Hampshire, Edward Silva and Gary Silva (Laurie) of Lexington, MA; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Silva, Nikolas Czajka and Alina Czajka.
