He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ward Hooker and Mary Hooker (Mitchell); and his grandson Eric Medoff of Cambridge, MA. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Della Cagna-Hooker; his children, Lucia Huntington of Cambridge, Britt Gappelberg of Lexington, MA, Jacqueline Broekhuysen, Miranda Hooker of Arlington, MA, Emily Hooker and Noah Hooker; his adoptive daughter Analisa Madrone (Elaine Jackson) of Berkeley, CA; his siblings, Pamela Hart of Cambridge, MA, Alice Hooker, Saralinda Hooker of Canandaigua, NY and Marianne Hooker of New Castle, PA.; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Jacob, Stella and Alexei Mayer of Berkeley, CA..
