With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Nissen (Wakefield, Massachusetts), born in Reading, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 13, 2018 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zussman Freeman and Lola Freeman (Masko). She is survived by: her husband Stanley Nissen; her children, Misti, Paul Connors of Woburn, Melanie, David Peterson of Lynnfield, Gregory and Courtney Nissen (O'Connor) of Wakefield; her grandchildren, Calvin, Kayla Knowles, Robert, Joseph, Katherine, Juliet Peterson, Connor and Liam Nissen; her brother Edwin Freeman of Halifax, MA; her sister-in-law Louise Rossen (Nissen) of Boynton Beach, FL; her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Dan Freeman, Jeffrey and Eric Rossen; and also, Jill Freeman (Short) of Halifax, MA and Clifford Rossen of Boynton Beach, FL. She is also survived by cousins, extended family, and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society or Temple Emmanuel (Wakefield).
