He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Geoffrey Cookman of Easton, David Cookman of Canton and Elizabeth Andon (John) of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Kailey, James and William Andon; his former wife Esther Cookman of Canton; his wife Yvonne "Bonnie" Cookman; his parents, Herbert C. Cookman and Hester Elizabeth Cookman (Billings); and also, Roy E. Braswell II and Debby Krause.
