She is survived by: her sister Joyce Johnson; her son Lionel Beane Jr. (Susan Beane); her grandsons, Lionel Beane III and Spencer Beane of North Reading; her niece Debra Ross; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shameka Thomas and Siyeeda Ross; her sisters, Yvonne Gates of Chelsea and Marlene Marshall (Chauncey Gaines) of New Jersey; and also Leroy Ross.
