We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Paula Rae Hollis of Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, born in Greenup, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Earl Ray Marshall; and her sister Johanna Lynn Marshall. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Marshall (Horsley) of Flatwoods, KY; her daughter Ashley Parker (Dan); her grandchildren, Addison and Isla of Preston; her daughter Kirsten Hollis (Clayton); her siblings, Jon Marshall (Penny Tharp) of Catlettsburg, KY and Julie Brooks (Ted) of Hampton Falls, NH; and her nieces, Morgan and Lily McGinnis.
She dedicated her life not only to the boys, but to the entire refugee community, where she worked tirelessly as an advocate within the school system and various organizations to generate support, money, and material donations needed to integrate them into a new culture while helping them maintain their own cultural identity.
